Want to Add “Founder of a Campus Organization” to Your Resume?

Are you an exceptional leader? Do you want to get more involved? We are looking for someone to start a ClassWish.org community service club on campus to help K-12 teachers get classrooms supplies they need for students to succeed. The organization will do hands on community service projects through advocacy, social media, media, celebrity campaigns, promotions, awareness-raising, and fundraising. If you are interested in any of these you can follow the steps to creating an on campus organization. This is what you need to do:

  1. The student organization President and Treasurer must complete an online orientation located at sll.sdsu.edu.
  2. The student organization faculty or staff advisor must complete an online orientation.
  3. Have any one of the organization officers fill out the online application for recognition.
  4. Hand in a hard copy of the Bylaws to the Student Life and Leadership office in Student Services West room 1661.

Keep in mind your organization must have 5 officers who are SDSU students and a faculty advisor. After submitting all the required materials the process will take about two weeks. You will receive a confirmation of recognition once it has been reviewed. If you have any further questions please contact Student Life and Leadership.
