If you’re looking for some internship opportunities, look no further.  H&M Communications is currently looking to recruit the best and brightest from colleges across the US for their apprenticeship program.  H&M Communications is dedicated to multi-cultural marketing with focus on the U.S. Hispanic market and has become one of the top Hispanic agencies trusted by more brands, film studios, television networks, content producers and distributors over the past seven years.  H&M’s expertise spans media relations, publicity, events, and marketing.  H&M is seeking fall apprentices for their West Hollywood, Miami, and Houston offices. All candidates will be responsible for assisting in promotions, cover premiers and events, and maintain social media sites.  The apprenticeship is an unpaid position worth college credit and requires that

All candidates MUST be bilingual (read and write in Spanish and English) as well as a junior/senior in college.  Each candidate should also possess excellent writing and communications skills, be detail oriented, personable and be able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and must be able to work 3-5 days per week.

Kohl’s Internship

The Store Management Internship Program is a 10 week summer program which consists of computer based training, hands‐on sales floor training, and executive development. You will also be provided with multiple opportunities to enhance your experience through exposure to senior level leadership, a trip to Intern Conference in Milwaukee, WI and more! As an intern with Kohl’s you will be treated as part of the management team and learn the principles of what it takes to run a successful retail business. In addition to the daily store management responsibilities, each intern will complete an Impact Analysis Project. This project is your opportunity to research a specific area or opportunity within your training store and solve a problem or offer ideas for improvements. You will present your Impact Analysis Project to Senior Executives at the completion of your ten weeks. Candidates interested in the internship position should have strong analytical and critical thinking, interpersonal and leadership, and verbal and written communication skills. Each individual must also be able to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.

CBCF Congressional Internship Program

Established in 1986, the CBCF Congressional Internship Program answered the call to help diversify our democracy by increasing the pool of talented public servants. This is an intensive nine‐week summer program that offers college students from across the nation an opportunity to learn about the legislative process, leadership, and careers in the policy making process. Interns work in CBC member offices, attend professional development events, and participate in leadership development projects. The deadline to apply for the internship program is March 22, 2012 and will last from May 27-July 28, 2012.  If selected each intern will receive the following:

  • $3,000 stipend
  • Housing at a local university
  • Possible college credit

In order to apply you must be a U.S. citizen or have a permit to work in the U.S. as well as an enrolled fulltime college student.
