New Sorority on Campus
The Panhellenic council at San DiegoStateUniversityis excited to welcome its newest edition to the Greek family, Alpha Gamma Delta (ΑΓΔ)! With the addition of AGD, SDSU will now have a total of 9 National Panhellenic Conference sororities on campus.
Alpha Gamma Delta is a social sorority founded atSyracuseUniversityin 1904. Some quick-fun facts about AGD:
Flower: A red and buff rose with green asparagus plumosa fern
Colors: red, buff and green
When originally beginning with the extension process, the Panhellenic council had a total of 5 sororities that showed interest in colonizing on our campus. The extension committee then narrowed these choices down to three; these three chosen sororities were invited to come present on our campus for the existing Panhellenic sororities.
Though all three organizations were extremely qualified, AGD blew everyone away with their devotion to academic excellence and loving sisterhood. The organization showed a genuine enthusiasm and excitement to colonize on SDSU, and the Panhellenic community could not be more excited to welcome AGD into the Panhellenic family!
