3! Open Air Theatre Concerts!

Night Concert @ the Open Air Theatre

As we approach the end of our third week of school, some of us are already getting overwhelmed by the immense number of hours we must spend studying daily just to keep up. With so much effort that goes into studying for our classes, we all deserve some type of reward. What better way than attending a concert at SDSU’s very own Open Air Theatre? A series of three concerts will happen over a four day span. The first concert will be on Sunday, September 30th headlining Grammy winning band, The Shins. The concert will begin at 7:30PM and tickets range from $25.00-$40.00 depending on the seats you want. The second concert will be on Tuesday October, 2nd. The show will be headlined by resurging rock band Furthur, who have steadily become more successful since their establishment in 2009. The concert will begin at 7:00PM and the price range for tickets goes from $35.00-$55.00. The last concert will be on Wednesday, October 3. The main performance will be by hip-hop artist, Mac Miller, who has been gaining fame throughout the country for his music. This show will begin promptly at 7:30PM, with tickets costing $35.00

Tickets can be purchased at the box office, online, or through Ticketmaster. Doors will open about one hour prior to each show, and parking is $10 in PS2 and PS6, unless you have a SDSU permit. The other parking structures are more convenient for students, the more we can avoid traffic the better, right? So if you are like many of us and feel that you deserve a break from the rigorous amount of work we must complete daily, come and join your fellow Aztecs for what is sure to some fun-filled nights.
