Tuesday, October 30: Right now you may be in the middle of or just finishing midterms. Finals is going to be here before you know it. Have you been organizing your time effectively? Do you feel like you never have enough hours in a day or are constantly losing tracks of when assignments are due? Are you forgetting items on your non-existent To Do List? Among the most important skills mastered by great leaders is the art of balance and time management. On Tuesday, Student Life & Leadership is offering a FREE workshop for all students in SSW 1661 at 3:00PM! This workshop will present you with the skills and practices necessary to be an effective and well-balanced student. Be sure to come and bring your friends!

Wednesday, October 31: SDSU Percussion is having an Ensemble Concert at 5:00pm. The concert is free to all students, and is being held at the Smith Recital Hall. For further information and details visit:

Thursday, November 1st: Open Mic Night! Any hidden talents that you’d like to showcase? The Maya/Olmeca residence halls are hosting an Open Mic Night right outside of the facilities for students to come and showcase any of their special talents. If you’re interested stop by at 5pm!

Every Thursday there is a campus wide Farmer’s Market on Campanile Walkway. From 10am-3pm, 10+ vendors cook amazing food that is both sustainable and good for the environment. If you haven’t already checked it out, make sure to stop by!

Also on Thursday is the first basketball game of the season! Our SDSU Aztecs will be facing off against CSU San Marcos at 7:00PM in Viejas Area! Buy your tickets quick because they sell out FAST!

Saturday, November 3rd: Men’s Soccer game vs. Stanford. The game takes place at 7pm at the Sports Deck. Come show your support!

With this week wrapping up, Election Day comes closer and closer; don’t forget that Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th. Rock the Vote and make sure your voice is heard! For more information on the voting process visit and register to place your vote.
