If one of your family members or someone that you have known has ever been affected by domestic violence, then consider attending this event. Break the Silence is a movement against domestic violence focused on inspiring survivors to tell their story to empower others. At the Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence event, attendees will enjoy a Polynesian themed dinner, live band, Polynesian Dancers, silent auction and opportunity drawings with over $40,000 in prizes! Along with all the fun and games there will also be a keynote speaker by the name of Johanna Orozco who will be telling her life story. It is guaranteed to be an emotional moment for all those that wish to attend. Her story was featured on ABC 20/20, Oprah, The View, and recently on I, Survived.
The Luau event is going to be held on Sunday, December 2 from 2:00pm-6:00pm.
