Environmental Internship


Hello fellow peers! Are any of you looking for an internship that will help you attain more experience for your dream job? Well look no further; here we have an awesome internship opportunity to tell you about. It is an environmental based internship that is out of the state; Laurel, Maryland to be exact. The company that is offering this paid internship is the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Patuxent Research Refuge with a weekly stipend of $195 per week with housing available as well. You will need to work 40 hrs/wk. There are two positions to be filled, and the internship lasts from Feb. 10th, 2013 – May 10th, 2013, so there is plenty of time to plan accordingly if this interests you. Some of the requirements that they are seeking are: being able to effectively work with parents and children, work well by yourself or as part of a team, and have a Bachelor’s degree or be in pursuit of one in education, natural resources, or any field that is similar. A valid driver’s license is also necessary for the job. Some of the duties will include but are not limited to: providing great educational service to the guests, leading effective tram tours, working with scout groups etc. If you are interested in the position you will need to send in a letter of interest, resume, and list of 3 references with contact information.
