Do you have a talent that you would be interested in sharing with the rest of the SDSU community? This semester might be your semester to do so. On December 6th from 5pm to 7pm at Cuicacalli Walkway there will be an open mic night for anyone who would like to show off their skills. Whether that is a song, dance, poetry reading, or a comedy routine the floor is yours to do with pretty much whatever you wish. This could be the night that you find your inner Justin Bieber, Beyonce or Maya Angelou. Take some time to prepare your best of the best performances, shake the nerves, and give it your all so that by the end of the night you can walk away with the title of SDSU Open Mic Night Champion. The event will be held outside so if you’re looking to keep your vocal cords warm make sure you dress to impress while keeping up the winter look. At Open Mic Night the spotlight is on you, the SDSU students, and your various talents.
If you would like to sign up just send a quick email to firstname.lastname@example.org letting them know what you are interested in doing and what equipment you will be using.
If you’re in doubt about whether to do it or not here is some advice. Take the leap. You never know what opportunities will arise from taking a chance or just having some fun.
