Spring Break Volunteer Opportunities

As Spring Break approaches many Aztecs look forward to time off and a chance to get away for a while. Some Aztecs may choose to stay in San Diego and live up the summer weather that seems to have already arrived. If you have some extra time over spring break or are just looking to see give back to the community, we have some community service opportunities for you. Let’s check them out!

Beach Clean-up:

The city of San Diego is looking for volunteers to clean up beaches and comb the local beaches. If you would like to volunteer to be a part of a beach clean up or even plan one, than feel free to call (619) 235-5929.

Senior Citizen Services:

The city of San Diego is looking for volunteers to help with various positions helping senior citizens. These shifts are 4 hour once a week that include being a dance partner, an assistant, or a lounge assistant. If you are interested in any of these positions, do not hesitate to call (619) 236-6905.

Park Patrol:

Finally the city of San Diego is looking for volunteers to help their Park Rangers inform the public of rules and regulations, help out with nature projects, and provide public assistance. There are multiple parks that need such assistance and it can vary from weekday or weekend.
