Charles Hostler Institute on World Affairs Lecture Series: Norman Finkelstein

This event will be held on Monday April 22nd from 5:00pm-6:40pm in ENS 280.  Dr. Finkelstein is a long-time political science professor and public commentator, focusing on various aspects of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and of the evolving relationship of the American Jewish community to the conflict.

 

50th Anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s Commencement Address at San Diego State University

On April 23rd from 12:30-1:30pm in Parking Lot L there will be a 50th Anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s commencement.  It will be celebrating and honoring Kennedy’s 1963 speech on education, equality and diversity.

 

SDSU 9th Annual Diversity Awards

On April 24th from 4:30-6:30pm in the Parma Payne Alumni Center SDSU will be having its 9th annual Diversity Awards celebration where they will be awarding student organizations, faculty, staff and alumni.

 

Landmark Lecture Series: Writing Departments and the Major: Past, Present, and Future

Susan McLeod will be discussing the development of the writing major and department and their importance at universities.  This event will be held on April 25th at 4:00pm in Love Library 430.

 

SDSU 2013 Multicultural Conference

On April 26th starting at 5:30 – Saturday April 27th at 9:00pm in the Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center, SDSU will be hosting the 2013 Multicultural Conference.  There will be multiple guest speakers and presentations on cultural diversity and competency.
