LGBT Pride Parade and Festival!


Walk with SDSU at the San Diego LGBT Pride Parade! 

The annual San Diego LGBT Pride Parade is the 4th largest in the United States attracting over 197,000 cheering spectators and significant media participation. SDSU will once again walk in this great event!

Earn Community Service at the San Diego LGBT Pride Festival! 

This is the first year that San Diego State University will be taking part in the Pride Festival which occurs after the parade on Saturday (7/13) and all-day on Sunday (7/14). This is an excellent opportunity to build relationships and networks while fostering an appreciation of cultural diversity!

Date: Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14, 2013

Time: Saturday 12:00pm to 10:00pm; Sunday 11:00am to 8:00pm

Location: Marston Point, Balboa Park (6th & Laurel St.)

If you would like to volunteer at this event contact Lauren Sparacino at by June 14 to sign up for a two-hour shift; you may request to work more than one shift.

Volunteer duties include:

·         Staffing SDSU’s information table

·         Answering questions related to the university and the various programs we offer on campus

·         Set-up table (morning shift)

·         Take-down (closing shift)
