As a demonstration of school pride and unity, the New Student and Family Convocation Committee would like to ask all recognized Student Organizations to display your organizations’ banner at the 2013 Convocation Ceremony to be held in Viejas Arena. Thousands of new students and their families will see your banner.
Please note, your organization must be recognized for the 2013-2014 academic year in order to display your banner; recognition status will be checked upon banner drop-off. To submit your recognition application, please visit: http://sll.sdsu.edu/studentorgs/start-renew.html
If you are interested in having your student organization banner displayed at Convocation, drop off your banner no later than Wednesday, August 21 , at Student Life & Leadership in Student Services West, room 1661.
Please give your banner to the front desk and sign in that you dropped it off on the sign in sheet. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. The size of the banner cannot exceed 4 feet high by 8 feet wide, and the banner must include grommets so that it can be hung appropriately at Viejas Arena. Unfortunately, handmade banners cannot be accepted.
You may pick up your banner after the ceremony in Student Life & Leadership on Tuesday, August 27.
