Templo Del Sol
Once again the fall semester starts at SDSU. Not only is this the welcoming of a new scholastic year but also the time to welcome thousands of new Aztecs. At SDSU we have a few staple events that every new student should experience. Templo Del Sol is the official welcome for new Aztecs to SDSU. It will take place on Friday, August 23 from 9pm – midnight. Here you will take the ceremonial walk through the Hepner Hall arches, where you’ll be greeted by continuing students, alumni, faculty and staff. This marks your first official night as an Aztec! Use your first night at SDSU to meet fellow classmates, learn the fight song, and participate in our traditions.
Red and Black Welcome Back Dance
If you’re feeling like getting down on the dance floor, here is your chance. On Saturday August 24th between 10pm-2am every Aztec will be dancing the night away at the Hepner Hall stage. Aside from a night of dancing there will also be other entertainment and free food! You don’t want to miss out on this fabulous annual event. Embrace your new found Aztec pride and don’t forget to wear your Aztec colors: Red and Black. Music, free caricature drawings, henna tattoos, and many more activities round out the evening!
Aztec Nights events are free to all SDSU students. To learn more about Aztec Nights, visit http://www.aztecnights.com!
