The American Heart Association’s San Diego Heart Walk is the best way for individuals to receive community service hours while getting involved in the fight against the No. 1 and No. 4 killer of men and women – heart disease and stroke. The Heart Walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living, while also celebrating our heart disease and stroke survivors. Individuals participate by forming teams of walkers, who obtain pledges on behalf of the American Heart Association. Every walker brings us closer to our goal. Walk with us to save more lives! There is no registration fee to participate but individuals who raise a minimum of $100 receive the official Heart Walk t-shirt. Go to http://www.sdheartwalk.org to register today! The American Heart Association San Diego Heart Walk is part of the My Heart. My Life platform. My Heart. My Life. is nationally sponsored by Jenny Craig and Subway, and locally sponsored by Union Bank.
