Most students are not aware of what types of services SDSU provides, including what kinds of services are provided to students outside of the classroom. SDSU provides FREE or low-cost health services to its students. Student Health Services, located in the Calpulli building, provides services such as dentistry, optometry, physical exams, and even immunizations. Student Health Services also provides other programs, such as workshops to aid in stress relief, for SDSU students.
The Calpulli Center is located on Hardy Avenue, just south of the ENS 700 field, and west down the walkway from the SDSU Transit Center. The address of the Calpulli Center is 5500 Campanile Drive, San Diego, Calif., 92182-4701. The hours of operation are: Monday- Friday: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, except for Thursdays when the hours are 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Make sure you visit Student Health Services today! If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact the Calpulli Center at (619) 594-5281. You may also find the Student Health Services website at http.://shs.sdsu.edu/index.asp. The website will allow you to look for specific dates the center is closed or find answers to specific questions. Remember most services are provided to you for no additional cost as the health fee paid by most SDSU students covers the cost of health services for students.
