Are you interested in working with college students? Do you want to make a positive impact on a student’s college experience? Would you like to work with students on programs related to academic success, diversity and cultural awareness, involvement and leadership, and career and personal development? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the field of Student Affairs might be for you!
Student Affairs is oftentimes a division or department on college campuses devoted to supporting students with the hopes of enhancing student growth. Working as a Student Affairs professional allows you to interact with inspiring students, encouraging them to make the most of their time in college. Student Affairs professionals are dynamic campus educators, advance transformational learning, promote global diversity and seek community change and engagement (adapted from ACPA).
